We’re excited to introduce the UK Microsystems Network, a new initiative funded by EPSRC that is designed to drive collaboration and innovation across the field of microsystems research. Microsystems technology is integral to advancements in areas like healthcare, AI, and telecommunications, supporting applications from drug delivery to environmental sensing in extreme conditions.
This network will bring together all who are interested in microsystems research, whether they are in academia, industry or government, to address key challenges in the field. The network will create forums for microsensors, microfluidics, MEMs, and more and help to ensure that the UK remains a leader in microsystems technology. We look forward to seeing the UK Microsystems Network catalyse growth and forge new research collaborations across the country.
Further details will be announced when the network formally launches in Spring 2025.
