We’re thrilled to announce our participation in the Intelli-Ingest network, a Marie Curie Doctoral Network that will train 13 doctoral students in an exceptional multidisciplinary research environment dedicated to advancing ingestible medical technology. Alongside esteemed partners such as Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet, the University of Thessaly, Centre national de la recherche scientifique, and industry leaders including Ovesco, Odense University Hospital, Mycro 3D, Biocam, and Bodycap, we are eager to push the boundaries of innovation in healthcare technology.
The research that will be done at the University of Birmingham will primarily focus on increasing the sustainability of ingestible devices through energy harvesting or the use of printed electronics and creating new multi-modal capsules.
Interested candidates who meet all the eligibility criteria (see links to projects) are invited to email Dr Cummins with a copy of the CV.
